3 Information Required

Every applicant seeking registration as a Professional shall provide complete, accurate, authentic, and current information during the registration process. Such information may include the applicant's full name, contact details, professional qualifications, educational credentials, government-issued identification, Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar details where applicable, address proof, professional memberships, certificates of practice, registrations, licences, work experience, areas of specialization, language proficiency, business information, bank details where required for payments, and any other information or supporting documentation reasonably required by KarBandhu for verification purposes.

4 Eligibility Criteria

KarBandhu reserves the right to determine the eligibility criteria for onboarding Professionals based upon the nature of services offered through the Website, operational requirements, legal obligations, customer expectations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements or successfully submitting an application shall not create any right to registration, empanelment, assignment of work, guaranteed earnings, employment, partnership, agency, or continued association with KarBandhu.

5 Document Review

As part of the verification process, KarBandhu may review educational qualifications, professional memberships, statutory registrations, certificates of practice, government-issued identity documents, address proofs, experience certificates, employment history, references, business registrations, licences, declarations, photographs, signatures, and any other supporting records considered reasonably necessary for establishing the applicant's identity, qualifications, professional standing, and suitability for onboarding. KarBandhu may also request additional information or documentation whenever reasonably necessary to complete the verification process.

6 Verification Methods

KarBandhu may verify the information submitted by an applicant through manual review, electronic verification systems, government databases where legally permissible, professional institutes, licensing authorities, regulatory bodies, educational institutions, previous employers, reference checks, publicly available records, identity verification partners, or other lawful verification mechanisms. The applicant expressly authorizes KarBandhu to undertake such verification activities for the purpose of evaluating eligibility and maintaining the integrity of the platform.

7 Authenticity & Compliance

Every applicant is responsible for ensuring that all documents submitted during verification are genuine, valid, complete, unaltered, lawfully obtained, and submitted with full authority. Submission of forged certificates, manipulated documents, false declarations, misleading information, impersonation, expired licences, fabricated experience records, or any other inaccurate information shall constitute a material breach of this Policy and may result in immediate rejection of the application, suspension of verification, permanent disqualification from the platform, reporting to the relevant professional institute or competent authority where appropriate, and initiation of legal proceedings to the extent permitted under applicable law.

8 Regulated Professions

Where an applicant belongs to a regulated profession such as Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, Cost Accountancy, Law, or any other regulated profession, the applicant shall ensure that all registrations, memberships, certificates of practice, licences, and statutory authorizations remain valid throughout the period of association with KarBandhu. The Professional shall immediately notify KarBandhu of any suspension, cancellation, expiry, disciplinary proceedings, criminal investigation, insolvency, regulatory action, or any event affecting their eligibility to practice their profession or provide services through the Website.

9 Periodic Re-Verification

KarBandhu may conduct periodic re-verification of registered Professionals to ensure that professional qualifications, licences, registrations, memberships, certifications, contact information, and other records remain accurate and up to date. Professionals may be required to upload renewed certificates, updated licences, revised contact details, additional verification documents, or any other information reasonably necessary to maintain their active status on the platform. Failure to cooperate with periodic verification requests may result in temporary suspension, restriction of assignments, or removal from the platform until satisfactory verification has been completed.

10 Additional Verification Methods

KarBandhu reserves the right to request video verification, telephonic verification, email verification, One-Time Password (OTP) verification, live identity verification, biometric verification where legally permissible, digital signature verification, or in-person verification where reasonably required to establish the authenticity of an applicant's identity or professional credentials.

11 Scope of Verification

Verification by KarBandhu signifies only that reasonable verification procedures have been completed based upon the information and documents available at the relevant time. Verification shall not be interpreted as a guarantee, warranty, certification, endorsement, recommendation, or assurance regarding the Professional's future conduct, competence, service quality, financial standing, ethical behaviour, legal compliance, or suitability for every assignment. Customers are encouraged to cooperate with the assigned Professional and promptly report any concerns regarding service quality or professional conduct through the grievance mechanism provided by KarBandhu.

12 Suspension & Revocation

KarBandhu reserves the right to suspend, revoke, withdraw, restrict, or terminate the verified status of any Professional at any time where it reasonably determines that inaccurate information has been provided, qualifications have expired, licences have been suspended, legal proceedings materially affect eligibility, professional misconduct has occurred, repeated substantiated customer complaints have been received, contractual obligations have been breached, or continued association is otherwise inconsistent with the legitimate interests of KarBandhu, its Customers, or applicable laws.

13 Data Protection

Information collected during the verification process shall be processed, stored, retained, protected, and, where appropriate, deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, Data Retention Policy, and applicable laws. KarBandhu shall implement commercially reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect verification records from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no electronic verification system or digital storage method can guarantee absolute security, and applicants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with electronic communications and internet-based services.

14 Disclosure of Information

KarBandhu reserves the right to share verification information with government authorities, regulatory bodies, professional institutes, auditors, legal advisors, law enforcement agencies, technology partners, or other authorized entities where such disclosure is required by applicable law, judicial order, regulatory requirement, contractual obligation, fraud investigation, dispute resolution, or for protecting the legitimate rights and interests of KarBandhu or its Users.

15 No Obligation to Onboard

Nothing contained in this Professional Verification Policy shall create any obligation upon KarBandhu to onboard every applicant, assign work, guarantee minimum assignments, provide fixed remuneration, continue the association indefinitely, or maintain the verified status of any Professional. KarBandhu retains sole discretion regarding onboarding decisions, assignment allocation, operational requirements, quality standards, and continuation of professional associations, subject to applicable laws and contractual commitments.

16 Policy Amendments

KarBandhu reserves the right to amend, modify, replace, update, supplement, or discontinue this Professional Verification Policy at any time in response to changes in applicable laws, judicial decisions, regulatory requirements, professional standards, technological developments, operational practices, or business requirements. Any revised version shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Website unless otherwise specified. Continued registration, verification, acceptance of assignments, or use of the Website following publication of the revised Policy shall constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

17 Severability & Waiver

If any provision of this Professional Verification Policy is determined by a competent court or authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severed without affecting the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect. Failure by KarBandhu to enforce any provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of any legal right or remedy available under applicable law.

This Professional Verification Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, claim, controversy, action, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to this Professional Verification Policy, the verification process, registration as a Professional, or the use of the Website shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts situated at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
