Professional Agreement

Effective Date: 11 July 2026

This Professional Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between KarBandhu (“KarBandhu”, “Platform”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) and every individual, business, consultant, or organisation (“Professional”, “Service Provider”, “You”, or “Your”) who registers to provide services through the KarBandhu platform. By registering as a Professional, creating a profile, accepting service requests, or otherwise using the platform to offer services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement.

Purpose of the Agreement

KarBandhu operates as a digital marketplace that connects customers with qualified professionals across multiple service categories. This Agreement establishes the terms governing your relationship with KarBandhu, your responsibilities as a Professional, and the standards expected while using the platform. This Agreement does not create any employer-employee relationship, partnership, agency, franchise, or joint venture between KarBandhu and any Professional. Every Professional operates as an independent service provider and remains solely responsible for the services they offer.

Eligibility and Registration

To register as a Professional on KarBandhu, you confirm that you are legally competent to enter into binding agreements under the laws of India. You further represent that all information submitted during registration, including your personal details, qualifications, business information, licences, certifications, and experience, is complete, accurate, and up to date. You agree to promptly update your profile whenever any of your information changes. KarBandhu reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any registration that contains false, misleading, incomplete, or unverifiable information.

Verification Process

To maintain the integrity of the platform, KarBandhu may require Professionals to complete one or more verification procedures before their profile becomes publicly visible or eligible to receive customer enquiries. Verification may include identity verification, mobile number verification, email verification, professional qualification checks, business registration verification, licence verification, GST verification, portfolio review, or submission of any additional documents considered necessary by KarBandhu. Verification indicates that certain information has been reviewed by KarBandhu but should not be interpreted as a guarantee of competence, service quality, or future performance.

Professional Responsibilities

As a Professional, you agree to conduct yourself honestly, ethically, and professionally at all times. You are responsible for maintaining an accurate profile, responding to customer enquiries within a reasonable time, honouring confirmed appointments, delivering services with appropriate care and skill, complying with applicable laws, and maintaining professional standards relevant to your field. You further agree not to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, pricing, certifications, or business information.

Customer Information and Confidentiality

During the course of providing services, you may receive customer information including names, contact details, addresses, documents, or other confidential information. Such information must only be used for the purpose of delivering the requested services. You agree not to sell, disclose, copy, distribute, or misuse customer information for marketing or any unrelated purpose without the customer’s explicit consent or where required by law. You are expected to take reasonable precautions to safeguard all confidential information obtained through the KarBandhu platform.

Payments and Platform Charges

Where applicable, KarBandhu may charge platform fees, subscription fees, verification fees, promotional fees, convenience charges, or commissions for services offered through the platform. Such charges may be revised periodically and will be communicated through the website or your professional dashboard. You remain solely responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, paying applicable taxes, and complying with all statutory obligations relating to your business or profession.

Ratings and Reviews

KarBandhu allows customers to provide ratings and reviews based on their genuine service experience. You agree not to manipulate ratings, purchase fake reviews, offer incentives in exchange for positive feedback, or pressure customers to modify or remove legitimate reviews. KarBandhu reserves the right to remove fraudulent or misleading reviews and take disciplinary action against any Professional attempting to manipulate the review system.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original content that you upload to your profile, including photographs, business logos, portfolio materials, certificates, and service descriptions. By submitting such content to KarBandhu, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, publish, and use the content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the KarBandhu platform. This licence continues only for as long as your content remains available on the platform, unless otherwise required by law.

Suspension and Termination

KarBandhu reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account if you violate this Agreement, submit false information, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities, repeatedly receive substantiated complaints, fail to complete required verification procedures, misuse customer information, or otherwise act in a manner that damages the reputation or security of the platform. In serious cases involving fraud, safety concerns, or illegal activities, KarBandhu may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

KarBandhu provides technology services that facilitate communication between customers and independent Professionals. Except where required by applicable law, KarBandhu shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from services provided by Professionals. Each Professional remains solely responsible for the quality, legality, pricing, execution, and outcomes of the services they provide.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KarBandhu, its owners, directors, employees, affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or legal costs arising from your breach of this Agreement, negligence, misconduct, violation of applicable laws, infringement of third-party rights, or misuse of the KarBandhu platform.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in [Your City, State], unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Amendments

KarBandhu reserves the right to modify or update this Professional Agreement at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on the website. Your continued use of the platform after such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
